My heart began to beat quicker, and and stronger. I heard my heartbeating inside my ear.
I was happy, and felt that a door opened toward a new life.

With my daughter, I cried - took 3 at home tests and a doctor's test before I would believe it. I am currently pregnant now, I cried this time as well.

I love children dearly, and wouldn't trade my daughter, or soon to be son in for anything in the world.

My daughter came at a time in my life when I was working towards a financial future, and also in an abusive relationship. This pregnancy happened around the same time I found out my husband cheated on me and we separated. My wonderful blessings happened at 2 of the worst times in my life. However, like I said - I wouldn't trade it for the world.:)

I was stunned at first, then i got scared, then eventually, the realization that i'm going to be a mom made me so happy. I was starting to fantasize of what my baby was going to look like when he comes out. What joy he will bring to us with his little antics, his laughter, his smile. Thanks for making this discussion. It made me realize that no matter how naughty my 4 yr old son now is, he is my miracle. Now, i'm going to cry.^_^

I didn't believe it to begin with, it had just taken so long & there had been so many disappointments.
We ended up doing 2 home tests before i went to the Dr & he did another to confirm - after he'd confirmed, he told me it didn't really need to confirm it coz if the tests say no, it could be yes & if the tests say yes, then it's still yes so with 2 home tests saying yes it was guaranteed!
She has been such a wonderful addition to our family & i couldn't imagine my life without her - even when she's being incredibly difficult, i wouldn't want things any other way!

I thought I had the flu. I went to the doctor and found out that I didn't have the flu but I was pregnant and I just couldn't believe it! I told my husband and he was thrilled. I was nervous and happy at the same time.

wow, this was a strange day. Nobody know we were going to a clinic but me, my mother and my feyonce, my step-dad would have killed me. When I saw the two purplish blue lines, i was so sad, because I was afraid of my step-dad, yet for some reason I couldn't stop smiling. When I got out of the clinic I kind of became hysterical. I was mixed with feelings. I was scared because of my family thinking I was a wh***, but inside I was still happy, because I knew I had this little life growing inside of me that is mine. It was very strange, but after a few hours, and my step dad being supportive and nice, I started thinking very possitively and I have been excited and happy ever since!^_^

I was literally sick to my stomach. Not because I didn't want children but, because I thought someone was pulling a sick, twisted joke of some kind on me.
When I was 15, I was told that, due to a medical condition, I could never have children. I was 27 when I got pregnant the firs time.
Well, I lost that son and one other child but, I now have two beautiful, healthy children.
God and his miracles, Amen!

i was excited but at the same time scared. i tried to get pregnant for almost 2 yrs and within months of giving up on trying i got pregnant.

It was the awesome experience I cannot forget. It's like a dream come true for us. Been Married last March 2005 and by July I take some test and showed I am two weeks pregnant already, we are very happy and I take good care of my growing tummy a lot.. it's a good experience that I treasure in my heart and hoping that someday, I can feel that excitement again on having baby number two.

I have yet to see how would I react my friends because I have yet to wait 'till I'm pregnant for the first time,but I would like to make a guess, maybe:

1. Cry for joy
2. laugh for joy
3. jump up high for joy..(oh no! i can't do that,i might have miscarriage)
4. this I'm sure I'm gonna do -> I will praise the Lord for givng us finally our miracle.

sigh..:( I just hope it happens soon.
