It all depend on how narrow the mind of the people. I debated with people for principles sometimes but definitely not about religion.

You know what is so sad? I feel the same way and I am Christian. I really can't stand hypocrites, intolerant and just plain hateful people that use this religion as they excuse for being so. I have read the same book as they and I tell ya, it doesn’t justify them in any way, IMO.

That was also what I hate so finally, I did not involve myself in churches. I had decided to become a Pagan myself. Yeah people of the world, I am a pagan and my beloved is an atheist. That is where this idea came from.

Sorry,but this is one saying that I know is wrong.
I was brought up in both Catholic and Protistant religions,My mother was Catholic and my father Protistant,so I was forced into both.
I then joined the army and spent 3 years in Viet Nam,and I can tell you,I became an athiest very quickly.
I spent many years with this belief then found wiccan.
this I find I can follow with clear conviction as it is an earth based belief.
There is no "wrong" religion,it is all in how you use it.

That was how I felt about the way this question was communicated. I agree...in a world that has free choice...who gets to decide which is 'worse' with a person's belief system. Judgments annoy me too!

fine if thats your opinion but your opinion is not the only thing that matters. This is not to judge but to get other people's opinion and there is root for this. If this is to judge then I would have said my own opinion.

I do hope you realize that the chrisitanity you see today stemmed off of ancient paganism rites. So just because someone who wrote a book chose one god out of many doesn't mean that they're any better.

Also, i hope you realize how incredibly narrow-minded you are. Besides, just becuase a person is pagan doesn't mean they believe in many Gods. SOme pagans believe in just one God. Or in a Goddess.

That is absolutely CORRECT! I am Pagan and I dont "believe in" ANY Gods or Goddess' as being seperate entities from me...I do believe in a higher power (Bondye) but its a very different thing...

IMO NEITHER are "worse" in fact really there is no religion worse than any other...all are valid and right, just not for everyone

Actually both Kalachia and xfallenxlostx are completely wrong.

Christianity stemmed off of a Hewbrew belief way back in the day. Do you know that all religions in the world come from only four? They are: Hebrew, Hindu, Hinterland and I believe Han but I could be mistaken on the last one. The other three I am sure about.

Even they believed in more than one god. The fact of the matter is that narrow minded people think too much into one set of religious rules, even though as "christians" they're supposed to love everyone. If christians followed half of the rules they're supposed to, there wouldn't be so much drama over which religion is worse.

Kalachia, while I do not agree with Revdauphinees beleifs, they seem to be very well read in them, and I suspect have good knowledge of the history of them.

Revdauphinee, none are worse or better than the other. The bible says that we should not have other Gods and that we should not deny Him either. So they're both equally good or equally bad, depending on how one sees it.
