1. dopey22girl (3140) | 3 years ago | It's not always good to bribe children, but a little girl I know gets a gummy bear every time she goes potty. It makes her really want to go, and she will ask to go when she doesn't even have to, but it's better than not going at all! Just a suggestion lol.

2. beckish (666) | 3 years ago | How old is he? A lot of people start potty training their children before the children are ready. When a child is ready to start potty training they will show signs; they will recognize when they are wet or soiled, for example and they will have names for each condition. With three of my kids I waited until they initiated the process (around age two and a half) and they were successful very quickly. With one of my daughters, though, a babysitter started training her at 18 months when she wasn't ready. She learned quickly..... but at the age of six she started wetting the bed and I found out later bedwetting is a symptom of being forced to potty train before the child is ready.

beckish (666) | 3 years ago | My daughter is the same way with her eleven month old twins. She will call me and ask for advice, then tell me I don't know what I am talking about. Then usually after she tries out everything else she ends up taking my advice. LOL.

3. sigma77 (4282) | 3 years ago | Maybe take him on the potty several times a day until he gets the idea. Even if he doesn't do anything, he might get the idea it is ok to use the potty any time of the day. After raising four boys, you should be an expert...lol.
