Were you AFRAID when the first time you travelled by PLANE?

I've never been a plane before so I really can't say how I'd feel.. But I think I'd be scared thats for sure.. I think I'd have bad thoughts as well and when I got off the plane I'd be happy I landed and maybe just maybe I'd get back on if all went well on the first plane ride!

Well, honestly I was hung over. It was my first flight. I had drank wine the night before and got sick, and then drank water when I got up and got drunk all over again. I guess you aren't suppose to drink water after you get sick on wine..LOL..anyway the flight was okay, there was a man that was very helpful to me. He showed me where to go and what to do. Thankfully, or I would have been sitting in the airport crying. I liked my first plane ride, from what I can remember of it.

i never been in a plane, i think i will be scared if i try sometimes,can you describe the feeling for the first time.

Hello! I was 10 years old when I first travelled by plane. I had been nagging my parents for ages to go on holiday where a plane was involved. I was very excited but its hard looking back to work out whether I was excited about the plane journey or just the exotic location that we were travelling to.

Living in the south of the UK I had been abroad many times to France and even to Scandinavia but going by plane meant going further abroad so I was very excited. I don't remember being scared but I do remember feeling uncomfortable.

I can remember being scared the second time I went on a flight (the first long haul flight I'd been on to the states. The feeling of fear neaver really left me for 20 years but I am fine with flying now!

Hi there. 2 years ago was the first time I went on a plane, and yes, I was afraid, especially when we started to lift of the ground and I looked out the window, staring at the wing, that seemed to be moving up and down instead of being straight, when I asked my father why was the plane moving around like that, he laughed and said whats the matter, are you scared and I was, I held on to his arm and squeezed it and shut my eyes, then he said to me if we crash we crash and he thought it was a big joke, when all the time the airport we flew out of was always windy and we were in a wind pocket, I couldnt wait for the plane to land so I could get off, 3 days later we had to fly back, and I asked him if we could catch a train back, and he said, no our tickets are paid for, for me not too worry about it, that I would be alright, so with this answer, I drank 4 double shots of Jack Daniels thinking it would calm my nerves, and I ended up dozing off and slept instead, because I was'nt use to drinking alcohol... When I think of it now, I kind of laugh to myself, thinking how silly I must have looked, to frequent flyers...

I wasn't particularly afraid, it's just that I was so looking forward to Disney World that I practically was willing to do anything. Turns out the plane trip was pretty fun, compared to the other ones.

i was definitely afraid and very apprehensive. i do not like knowing that i cannot just get off the plane if i start to feel closed in or panicked that we are way up in the air. i flew to florida from new jersy which is not a long flight at all but i was thrilled when we touched down. i was not able to forget that we were up in the air like some people seem to be able to do. when it came time to fly home a week later i vowed i would never get on a plane again if i made it home safely and i have kept my word. that was 23 years ago. i will never get on a plane again.

its kind of an excitement but i was quite scared and my belly was kind of shaking,it wasnt a far travelling though,but the fear of the old planes that exists in nigeria was overwhelming, you find aircrafts as old as 40 years and some even older and these planes are not maintained atall

yes, i was afraid. and i'm still afraid. i'm afraid bout taking off and landing. i feel as if we're going to crash... and i'm bothered too by the ringing in my ear...i really do make a conscious effort to swallow just to clear it.

I travelled for the first time when i was 7 years old to singapore in my school vacations and then my father shifted his business in thailand .......so we had to visit thailand every year in vacations ......but i was so excited whenever i travelled by plane and still i love plane journey .....it feels so romantic to me

my last journey was last year in april to bangkok and now hopefully i will travel soon when needed .....

i also love to watch in-flight videos on youtube and google .....
