I have a 1986 XJ6, that was running fine:then the fuel pump went out.Replaced it and it won't stop running, causing the car too flood. The air flo9w meter is not sticking, replaced pres. regulator, fuel filter, tested extra air valve[22.3ohms]:but on water test valve would not open or close fully:coolant temp sens[2500ohms]air temp sens[1180ohms]thermotime switch[0delay]@100 degrees;replaced fuel pump relay:QUESTIONS Could the cold start relay or injector be causing the pump too run all the time. What else could keep the pump from cutting off besides the tested I have completed.
