Ever been to the Palm Islands?  | |  I was just wondering if anyone has been to Dubai's Palm Islands? I really want to go and visit and love the fact that it's a group of man made islands shapped like a palm tree. What a great idea. Plus it looks like it has a lot of beautiful buildings and entertainment as well as amazing beach front properties. Have you been?

I think Dubai is a very mysterious country and when I checked their pictures online, I fell in love with it. Hopefully I could go there some day.

| | | 2. maximax8 (4245) | 8 months ago |  I haven't been to see the Palm Islands in Dubai but I would really like to do so. I saw a television program about building in the ocean in Dubai. It is a clever idea and they are doing this because they are running out of oil. They are currently building 'the whole world' in a series of islands. I saw an artist's idea of how the owners of 'Australia and New Zealand' will shape their idea. The ones that have bought 'Ireland' hope to turn it into green fields and have an Irish pub. Dubai sounds like a modern country with some exciting ideas like the Palm Islands.

The world islands look cool, I don't know if I'd want my own island but I bet there are tons of people out there who are willing to buy them. I'm surprised you don't hear of more major celeberties heading that way too. | |
