 The following are some basic hair care tips that you can use to improve the health and look of your hair.
A healthy lifestyle will mean healthier hair for you.
Excessive stress, smoking, not exercising and not eating nutritiously are not healthy for your hair. Get enough sleep.
Avoid using hair styling products with alcohol which dries out hair.
Avoid putting hair styling products directly on your scalp, if you put it on your scalp you'll clog the pores on your head.
Drying Hot air can be damaging to your hair so when using a hair dryer use the cool setting.
Don't leave the blowdryer in one spot for more than a few seconds, keep it moving and at a good distance away from your hair.
To speed up the drying process, pat your hair dry with a towell and let the remaining moisture in your hair dry naturally.
Gently use your fingers or a pick to untangle any knots while your hair is drying

2.  subathra (2812) | 3 years ago |  some good tips to maintain hair.I take immense care to maintain my long hair.I never use colouring or anything that makes hair fall.I use a particular shampoo and oil.
I use dryer very rarely as i know it will cause splittings and prevent hair growth.

AnoChaudhary (989) | 3 years ago |  wow that was really useful thank you:) and i also want to add a few more tips if you dont mind:) once a week apply warm coconut oil on the scalp using cotton leave it for an hour and then wash it off. And if you feel your hair is thinning apply castor oil along with coconut oil but make sure you do this when the weather is sunny:)

well wht u have mentioned is all very good n helpful, thanks for the help...
but can i add a few points to ur points if u dont mind:
one should always take hair bath with lukewarm water or cold water n not very hot water, use homely products or natural products like curd n lemon juice apply it n leave it for half hour n shampoo it.
use shikakai n aritha powder as shampoo agents as that may add to the growth n shine to hair, use egg on hair that makes hair silky, use heena powder thats a good conditioner n colouring agent, comb hair thrice to four times in a day..
use comb with teeths attached nearby rather then teeth at distances..
use castor oil twice a week. always oil ur hair before washing, wash ur hair twice a week.
that wud be all thnks.
