Have you been checked lately?

Hi, This is for all the girls/women on mylot. I'm wondering if all of you are getting your regular check ups and paps? It is very important to keep up on that expecially if you are sexually active. The quicker they catch cervical cancer the more likey you are to live through it and get rid of it. I had it at 18 yrs old and it was already spread to where i had to have surgery to have it removed. I had gotten a check up 2 years before that and I was fine, so getting a exam yearly is very important. I've been clear for years now and I get checked regularly. I know 4 other girls that had it at/around the same time i did and they were all different ages. Anywhere from 16-52 yrs old, so don't think just because you are young or old you can't get it, cuz you can. Also the one lady who was 52 had been sexually active with the same man (her husband) for 33 yrs and she still got it, so it's not only if you are sleeping with multiple people that puts you at risk. Please go get checked out if you haven't already and If anyone has it and needs to talk or get advice on what is going to happen next, please feel free to talk to me.
