|  Have you ever heard a song that you can just really relate to?
Brad Paisley, sings about a guy, (even though I'm a female) that I can really relate to, about being cooler online.
The Chorus goes like this:

In society I get rejected because of my looks, because of my diabilities with my feet. I get judge because of my past.....
So sometimes I wish I could do just that, be someone I'm not, and be much cooler 'Online'

| |  I just saw the video for the first time this past weekend and I was cracking up. As much as I hate to admit it I can relate to this song. I do not pretend to be someone I am not but even when you say that you have issues, disabilities, problem or what have you there is a level of acceptance that there is not face to face.

| |  I'm 5'7" 70lbs overweight, I drive a ZX2, I live in a small bordertown, I don't drink, not at all mysterious (but can be when I wanna lol). Nope, that song don't fit me at all. I don't pretend to be somone I'm not whether on or offline. I'm me..accept it or git the hell out. I could care less how others judge me cause if they do, then they are just doing it cause they envy me. I can't think of any song off the top of my head that I can relate to but I'm sure there is one out there somewhere. Very good topic, Mooch.

| |  I love this song- I think Brad pokes fun at things in life- Like his alcohol song and Celebrity song- He certainly tries to make light of funny situations.
Sure I can relate to alot of songs- That is why music is so great and a Big part of my life.

| |  Yes, oneandone, I'm sure that many of us can relate to that song(I love Brad Paisley). That's one nice thing about being online; you can be who you want to be. The only stipulation I would add to that is to keep it honest with your real friends. There are a couple of Kenny Chesney's songs that I relate to: I Go Back and Summertime. They evoke memories of bygone days to me. They make me remember how it was when I was very young.

| |  Yes, I heard this song and saw the video. I love the video. It has Kelly Pickler in it who was off american idol, it has Taylor Swift in it, it has Marsha from the Brady bunch in it, along with someone from star wars, and a few other actors.
It is so funny. I love it.

My daughter nudges me and refers to it as my song when it comes on now.
I was hooked on chat rooms for a while and more recently I've been hooked on myLot. She is well aware of that so now when she hears that song she uses is as an excuse to give me some ribbing.
It's a cute song. I think it's funny and yeah, I can relate to it. I came across some interesting characters when I used to chat and I have come across a few intersting folks here in myLot as well. lol
