| melissaruth1 (3531) | 3 years ago | This has been a pretty continuous ordeal with china the last few months. First it was dog food, then shrimp, thomas the train toys and now fisher price. I just dont think we should do trade with them until they get their act together. I was lucky none of the toys listed did we own. My daughter loves dora and diego so i was glad i didnt have to try to tell a 3 yr old I had to throw away her favorite toys. | |

| 4. 3lilangels (2962) | 3 years ago |  when i heard this i got really scared,so i went to the website and saw all the toys that were recalled,and i had alot of those toys.so i had to check the toy boxes and find the toys.one of my customers told me i can bring them back to the store.theres always something being recalled it makes you wonder.but i will check this out.

| 5. tattooedcrafter (72) | 3 years ago |  THe scarest thing is my son had two of toys that were recalled, one at home and on at his papas house, as soon as I saw that it was toys that he had I couldn't remember when there were bought I rushed out and bought a home lead testing kit and tested them both a couple of times, thankfully there weren't the ones being recalled, we bought then before the date specified but it was still scary, just the thought that there could have been lead on my sons toys was really scary.

I was very disappointed though, because I was going to purchase some of these for my daughter for xmas. I hope they replace them with safe ones before then. | |

| 6. Gemmygirl1 (2628) | 3 years ago |  I was a bit worried coz we buy our daughter Fisher Price - it's good quality & durable.
Our daughter has an Elmo guitar & although there are similar ones on the recall list, the one she has was shown on the news report so we'll send it back & see what happens.
Thankfully they pay for the shipping to & from them so that will help. We'll send it out & if it comes back then we know everything is ok with it, if not, then we'll get a replacement item of the same value & sinilar style, which i think is a very good thing!
I guess 1 reliable brand making 1 mistake is forgivable & it's not that the toy has high lead, it's only the paint so they can replace & start over. I think i'll continue to stick with Fisher Price though:)

It is just so frustrating all these items coming from china the past few months are tainted somehow, making them dangerous for our families. I guess what I was suggesting is that maybe our country should rethink our trade agreement with china. | |
