Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville is the capital and the second most populous city of the U.S. state of Tennessee, after Memphis. It is located on the Cumberland River in Davidson County, in the north-central part of the state. Nashville is a major hub for the health care, music, publishing, and transportation industries.
Nashville has a consolidated city-county government which includes seven smaller municipalities in a two-tier system. The population of Nashville-Davidson County stood at 607,413 as of 2005, according to United States Census Bureau estimates. The 2005 population of the entire 13-county Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area was 1,498,836, making it the largest and fastest-growing metropolitan area in the state.

My daughter and her husband have been to Tennessee and she forced him to go to Elvis's home and took the tour. She is a huge Elvis fan. Even my son in law ended up having a good time and they would like to return to Tennessee again only have more time to do more things.

yeap, Graceland is in Memphis, Tennessee. and Memphis, Tennessee is real close to Tunica, Mississippi as well. and i like Elvis' music. i guess my favorite song by Elvis is, "Love Me Tender".

My dad took me there and all I can recall is going to the mountains and riding the train up and down the side of the mountain. I don't remember why we were in Tennessee. We didn't have any relatives or friends who lived there and don't recall why my mom didn't go with us. Tennessee is beautiful. One of these days I'd love to go to Graceland.

that is very interesting, or is it the second most populous city in the state of tenn.
all I know about nashville is country music, but I am really not much of a fan, though I loved elvis, not sure where graceland is though.
I do have a friend in jackson tenn, but never got to visit her yet.

and Graceland is in Memphis, Tennessee, your friend that lives in Jackson, Tennessee is alot closer to Memphis than i am. it is about a three an a half hour drive to Memphis, Tennessee from where that i live. for your friend, two hours if that long, depending on where that he/she lives. and i hope that you get to meet your friend one of these days that lives in Jackson, Tennessee.

I have been to the other side of Tennessee. The Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Chattanooga areas. It is so pretty up there. I absolutely love Tennessee and one day I want to move there. I live just south of you in Alabama.
