Bourne vs Bond  | |  Okay, yes, time for that juvenile "which one would win?" kind of topic!Jason Bourne is America's answer to James Bond, not that we DON'T love James Bond, mind you! We rather fancy him.
Besides the obvious "Who would win if they got in a fight?", overall, who do you think is more intriguing? There's no way Bourne could do the kind of justice to a Brioni suit that James Bond does! Still, there's an accessability, a "realness" to Jason Bourne that NO James Bond has yet possessed, no matter which Bond you're talking about. When it comes to the "alpha-male" factor, I think Jason Bourne could stand nose to nose with the best of the Bonds!What do you think?(BTW, any notice that Matt Damon isn't quite so baby-faced anymore? He finally looks his age in Ultimatum, much different from Identity.)

If James Bond had his gizmos and gadgets then I guess he might stand a chance against Jason Bourne, but I highly doubt he would win if it were a fist-fight. Bourne's got that martial arts and stuff down. Besides, if Bourne's got a knife or something, the whole game's over already.
I think Bourne's a lot cooler than Bond anyhow - he's a lot easier to relate to and to develop a liking towards.
Last but not least, Bourne's definitely got the "alpha-male" factor down. Besides, James Bond isn't so "alpha-male" now that I think about it, haha. It'd be pretty interesting to watch, especially on the big screen, but Bourne's got this pretty much in the bag.

| Jason_Lee (66) | 3 years ago | Yeah, I agree, Bourne is much easier to relate to. He seems like an average guy and that's his lure. It's kind of like the difference between Superman and Spiderman. Superman is untouchable, but Spidey is a teenager who's gutless around a certain girl! I can relate to that!
Oh, I'd say Bond is pretty alpha-male as well, especially with Daniel Craig. He made Bond grittier than he's ever been! Besides, he has the awesome cars, the perfect clothes, the coolest toys, always gets the girl and get to kill a bunch of guys in between.
I think the aggression is a little more restrained in Bourne, so it's also more appealing.
