Six Flags White Water Splash Park!  |

|  hi everybody. i just wanted to let everybody know that my family and i just got back from vacation...we went to Atlanta, Georgia to visit Six Flags over Georgia and the next day, we went to Six Flags White Water Atlanta Splash Park! oh, it was so much fun....my family and i usually go to Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, but this year we went to Atlanta.
Six Flags White Water Splash Park is where they have the water ride called The Tornado! oh my gosh, it was so much fun to ride! at the bottom of the ride, you got in line, and at the end of that line you got your raft and carried it up steps to get to the top of the attraction, when it was our turn to get on the ride, we went around a little curve and from there it was almost straight down into that big funnel! oh my gosh!, i rode the tornado! it was so much fun, but so tiring that we only rode it once. lol. i screamed all the way on that ride. lol.
they also had a wave pool, free falling water slides, and a little river that you could float around in.
has anybody here on Mylot ever been to Six Flags White Water Atlanta Splash Park? if so, tell me about your trip there...if you haven't been there tell me about it!

| |  I have never been to a water park and I cant see my self going to one any time soon because of the price and plus my son is too small to enjoy that. probably too small to go on them anyway. I am glad you had fun so if you had that much fun I can imagine how your kids felt.

| |  Sounds like you had a great time with your family.
I've been to Atlanta but it was many many years ago. I don't believe there was a Six Flags in the area at that time. I haven't been to Six Flags White Water Atlanta Splash Park and probably will never be able to go. Actually, I have never been to any water park. They were built after our kids were pretty much grown and not in our area.

| |  I haven't been to a water park in years, and they are a blast, but also dangerous if there are storms as they can attract lightning,
I loved the ride where you went down this huge slide and it clocked your speed going down, and if you got the fastest time it was posted,
This was in Florida, not sure if that water park is still there or not.

We have a water park similar here.
I walked all the way, it seemed like a thousand steps.
Looked down the slide, turned around and walked all the way back down again.
I just could not slide down that thing.

| |  I have not been to six flags because that is american and I am canadian, but we have an amusement park here in montreal called la ronde, and I used to go there when I was younger but haven't been there in about 20 years.

No I have never been there, and I can say I will never be going there, since I live up in Canada I don't think it would be fessible for me to make it there. But it is nice to see you and your family had so much fun while you were there.
I have gone to some really good places here, though, when I lived in Calgary and was close to the mountains in BC. They have these kinds of parks in the mountains and I have gone to see them, but I have never participated in any of them, as I feel I am too old to enjoy the rides.
