Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I don't like things that are hard to spread, Katesmama.
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | I don't either, I prefer things that require little effort initially.
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I have found that with a bit of effort and the right touch, I can spread just about anything.
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | I believe you since you said the same about butter...hmmm
I can't hold that against you though, I got a bit of de ja vu when I offered to bathe Molly. It didn't hit me I'd said the same thing before til you popped in and made it a real party.
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I recall that I said the same sort of thing to Calais about butter. Refresh me on the molly bathing dejavu?
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | This will be fun...
My girlpal Molly said she hated showering everyday, which made me sorry I had a stand alone shower built for one so I could make the experience more fun for her. So I asked her if she enjoied baths, because I have that nice spa tub that I feel guilty pleasure using alone. And I sweetened the offer by including that I would wash her hair, much like a certain fur covered bear in need of a good scrub down.
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Oh, I definately remember all that. I was just wondering what you meant by calling that de ja vu?
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | As I was typing it felt as though I'd done it before. I had, almost to the exact word typed that before in a discussion I'd had with you in the past. And I didn't realize it until you posted to that discussion.
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Oh.
Well, it was nice to hear again, so no worries!
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | If you really wan tto know, I have a whole notebook full of great things to do with bears, I pull from there when the time calls. I'd happily zerox it for you and send it along, when's your birthday?
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Sadly, my birthday is a long time from now, but Labor day is just around the corner!
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | Well, I figured that if it was a long time from now, I would have time to make it a nicely bound book with pictures as well. So, when is it?
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | dfn12968 holds the answer to that which you seek.
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | Alreight, I have it now. Is it secret?
| |
dfn12968 (5538) | 3 years ago | what if she wants to send you a kinky present for your birthday? you should be more forthcoming. you don't know what you might be missing. don't worry though, i got your back, T. i'll make sure you don't miss out.;)
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | It's no secret. I just have to watch myself with the paparazzi and all that. My birthday is December 9th. A long way from now.
| |
Katesmama (3223) | 3 years ago | That's not paparazzi hiding in your tree snapping pictures, that's me a D, we work in shifts.
| |
dfn12968 (5538) | 3 years ago | big mouth! the idea is to be incognito. now our cover is blown.:-P

| |
dfn12968 (5538) | 3 years ago | no,LOL... i think now that he knows we're stalking him, he's going to run the other direction! i'm sure we can find him, though. big bears are not very inconspicuous.
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | So, are you now plotting, er, making plans for your get together?
| |
dfn12968 (5538) | 3 years ago | yes, we're thinking about a little photography road trip to georgia. any ideas of where to go or what to do? we're very flexible.;)

3. whimsystoryteller (846) | 3 years ago | I so rarely buy peanut butter because I don't really eat it. I have a jar in the cabinet that's been there over a year. I double checked the date on it recently to make sure it wasn't dangerous to eat and it says it's not. But when I buy, I usually get the crunchy variety of Jif. It tastes better to me.
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Crunchy Jiff is good to me as well, whimsystoryteller. I like most peanut butter except for the sugar free varities.
| |
whimsystoryteller (846) | 3 years ago | Sugar free peanut butter? That's kind of like sugar free candy...it sort of defeats the purpose. I mean peanut butter is an indulgence, isn't it? Or for kids. I guess sugar free might be a good idea if they can make it taste good.
It's sort of like fat free Parmesan cheese. I once bought one of Kraft's fat free cheeses. It was terrible. It tasted like I'd imagine cardboard tasting. Yuck!
Healthy Choice is the only one that makes low fat or fat free dairy that tastes good to my way of thinking. I haven't found anyone else that makes it decently. Too bad they don't make the grated parmesan cheese because it sure would save me a lot of calories/fat. I eat a lot of fettucine because it's inexpensive and I like it.

4. lecanis (7212) | 3 years ago | I didn't miss it since I'm not allowed to eat peanuts anymore. I think my husband usually buys Jif, so I don't think he would have missed it either. I don't think I would stop buying an item forever because there was a problem with it once though, so if it were something I would have bought, I would be buying it again. Did that sentence make any sense?
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Yes, it made sense, and since you can no longer have peanuts, and I feel sorry for you lecanis, I am not going to give you a hard time about your statement, even though I could.
It's good to see you online.:)

lecanis (7212) | 3 years ago | Hehe, thanks for not giving me a hard time. It was nice talking to you this evening.=)

5. ibuemma (1226) | 3 years ago | I don't really like peanut butter too. seem if I eat bread with that, those peanut butter kind of stick on my teeth. My hubby like it though, but he allways buy that jiffy thing. Is great value is wal-mart brand?
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Yes, Great Value is the Wal-Mart brand. I guess that Peter Pan and Great Value are the same, eh?

6. mimatexas (1212) | 3 years ago | I rather buy great value peanut butter. I don't trust peter pan anymore. I didn't miss it at all.
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Great Value was also banned, mimatexas. It's made at the same place as the Peter Pan. I guess they are the same, with different labels. I saw on the news that both are coming back on the market.
| |
mimatexas (1212) | 3 years ago | Really? I didn't know. Anyways what I buy is Jiff extra crunchy peanut butter. Do you refrigerate it? or do you put it in your pantry or cabinets?
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I didn't know either until I just saw it on the news.
I don't refrigerate my peanut butter, but that sounds like a grand idea as I imagine the peanut butter would taste great, chilled. Do you refrigerate your peanut butter?
| |
mimatexas (1212) | 3 years ago | No, I don't either. I used to refrigerate the peanut butter but not anymore. My daughter told me I didn't need to do it so I stopped refrigerating it.

7. mummymo (11642) | 3 years ago | I take it these are varieties of Peanut Butter? I have never heard of either of them so neither! I will just have to stick to my Sun Pat or stores own label! xxx

Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Sorry, mummymo, I didn't want to excude you.:(

8. raychill (3493) | 3 years ago | No No No! I am a Skippy girl all the way. I always buy Skippy and if that was off the market I'd be so sad. I do Jif next. But I rarely ever do Peter Pan. He's a boy who doesn't want to grow up...not a Peanut Butter. I don't think I've ever even had Great Value. I love love my Peanut butter and I couldn't live without my Skippy!
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I haven't seen Skippy in years, raychill. I wonder if it's still available in my area?
| |
raychill (3493) | 3 years ago | I don't know. You should look it up. SKippy makes some mighty good extra crunchy! I don't do creamy. Gross. But I totally love Skippy. I'd be heart broken if they didn't sell it in my area.
But choosy moms choose Jif anyway right?
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | I guess I'm not all that choosy.:)

9. rarrimalion (610) | 3 years ago | HECK yes!! I miss it so much, its my favorite kind! I buy the reduced fat kind cuz i actually just like the taste better. Theyre the ONLY ones who make it! I can WAIT for the day it comes back out, they need to hurry lol.
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | You're making me want to try the reduced calorie kind, rarrimalion.

10. crazed_moma (875) | 3 years ago | I don't miss it at all.:) I prefer Jiff. I stocked up on a sale they had at Fred Meyer though so it'll be quite some time before I need more. If I happened to be shopping at Walmart and was on a tight budget than I would definitely buy the Great Value brand. IMO they tend to test so stringently after things like that happen so I wouldn't be too concerned.
| |
| |
Transdisc (18489) | 3 years ago | Yes, now does seem the best time to consume it, crazed_moma.
