Would you rather sleep on the top or bottom of a bunk bed? |
| |
| Either way, you'll have to worry...if you're on the top, you might fall off while sleeping...and if you're on the bottom, the top bunk could cave in and land right on top of you, including the person sleeping on it...ha ha...I don't know, I guess I'd pick the top bunk. I don't think I'd feel comfortable with somebody sleeping above me. So which would you choose, top or bottom? | | Bunk bed | | | | |

| | I guess that's true...you'd have to always use that dumb ladder to go down if you're sleeping on top | | | |

| | That is kinda tricky...if you are on the bottom I would worry about the person on top falling through and landing on me =) But on the top I would be afraid of falling off....weird but I would choose the bottom. | | | | | | |

| | I have a habit of rolling towards left and right when I am fast asleep. So I always prefer to sleep in the bottom row of the bunk bed. I had been to USA and at New York, I stayed in YMCA where the accommodation is dormitary type, having 4 rows. I always choose bottom row. | | | | | | |

| | Hey ssh, I never knew you came to America! How'd you like it? Michigan is very similar to New York, especially weatherwise. But New York is very fast-paced...and it's a little slower here in good old Michigan...thanks for the response | | | |

| | My dear young Michigan lady, I was there couple of years ago for 40 days, visited most of the cities in the east coast including Chicago, St. Luis city, Orlando, Boston. I stayed for 20 days in New Jersey. I simply enjoyed the lovely country and lovely people, excepting taken for a ride in New York downtown for couple of dolars. | | | |

| | LOL, yes I always picked the top when I was a kid, for fear of being squished. I rather fall off than that. | | | | | | |

| | I prefer the bottom. Just because. I once tried sleeping on the top bunk and I ended up spending the whole night reading magazines becuase I can't sleep. | | | | | | |

| | when I had to sleep in a bunk bed I always chose the bottom because I was too afraid of falling down from the top. I am tossing and turning in my sleep and so it was safer to use the bottom bed. | | | | | | |

| | I used to have a bunk bed. I think the same thing as you. I know most of the time on the bottom. I was just alone in my room so it didn't really matter. I was just more worried I would roll off the bed. | | | | | | |

| | I also find on the bottom bunk that if I get up too fast I hurt my head! I hate that too....Why not get one of those loft beds??? They are about half the bunk bed!! :P | | | |

| | Why did you have a bunk bed if it was only you?? I've never had to actually sleep on one...but I've always wondered which one I'd choose, top or bottom. Thanks taylorblue :-) | | | |

| | i would rather sleep on the bottom bunk cos i find that it's quite troublesome to climb up and down every day. although when i was younger i loved to sleep on the top bunk at camps for the same reason! interesting to remember how different we are as we grow older. also i feel more secure on the bottom bunk. a concept i really like these days are loft beds. where you sleep on the top bunk and there's a sofa or a study table at the bottom. space saving and quite nifty. but that requires high ceilings and most apartments these days don't have that. | | | | | | |
