| | My wife does not like dogs. She likes cat and we have close 8 of them. Funniest thing is yesterday, the mother and her daughter gave birth to 3 each. I have asked my relatives to take some, because I cannot manage 8 everyday. | | | | | | |

| | There is a superstition going round here that cats should come on its own to our house and dogs we should buy. No body buys cats here. Thanks for your comments and have a niceday. | | | |

| | Between the two I would go gaurd dog... They adapt to situation easier, they are generally healthier then toys. And well they will protect you and your family, as they become one of the family. | | | | | | |

| | We have two dogs. One of them is a lab mix who weighs around 55 lbs. The other one is a terrier mix that weighs around 20 lbs. The smaller one is definitely the one that is better with our 18 month old son. But the bigger one is getting where she likes him more and is more tolerant, too. She's old, so that might be part of the reason that she didn't like him so much before he understood that he had to be nice to them all the time. I love both of my dogs, though. I think there are good things about each one. | | | | | | |

| | If they are raised and trained appropriately, both can do very well. All breeds have different health issues particualr to them, and depending on who you ask all breeds have varying rates of dog bite incidents. I would say for the best luck go with somethings in the middle, perhaps of the labrador variety or mixed from the pound. Beginners tend to have the best luck that way and can sometimes find a family orientated well trained pooch that was given up due to divorce, or a move or the like. | | | | | | |
