Separate Vacations  | |  I recently read in the paper that many couples are now taking separate vacations. Does that interest you? I would not go on a vacation without my husband, thats just the way i am. Im sure he would though lol. He goes up north to his family reunions alone because I get car sick and cannot go. I think thats a different story though because thats just one one day and one night. So what do you think about spouses going on separate vacations?

I think that it would be a good thing for couples to take separate vacations and a vacation together every year if they can afford it. It doesn't necessarily have to be alone. It could be a trip with friends. I know couples where the husband goes camping/hunting with his buddies for a week every year and the wife goes away with her girlfriends for a week every year.

I haven't seen my Hubby for over five months already so to go on vacation without him doesn't feel like fun at all for me. I want to have a special holiday with him when time allows and we can afford it..who knows we may even get a proper honeymoon lol!
