| 6. dfn12968 (5538) | 3 years ago |  I had just turned 19, and it was a mistake. I was in a rush and just wanted to get it over with and really didn't even like the guy I was dating. I had recently broken up with a guy that I loved but was stupid and thought I didn't want to be "settled" at 18. We'd never slept together during the time we dated, and I wish my first time had been with him and not the guy it was actually with. Come to think of it, had I not been so stupid and left guy number one, we might still be together.
Ironically though, guy number one and I did meet a few years later and went out a couple of times and did sleep together that time, but it wasn't what I hoped it would be. The magic was gone between us by then, I guess. I don't think he ever got over why I left the first time. It didn't work out in the long run for us, unfortunately.
Okay, that was a tangent...sorry....LOL!

I think mentally I enjoyed being close with my partner at the time but physically it took till I was about 25 before I knew what felt good. I wouldn't want my childern to do the things I had done as a youth. It was a mistake.
