Do you like clowns? Have you been in a clown costume?  

Ever since I saw the footage of John Wayne Gacy dressed up like a clown, they disturbed me. Not to the point that I can't be around them .. but enough that most of them really creep me out. A few years ago it was the "trendy thing" - to be scared of clowns. I have no idea what started that but almost every single adult was petrified of clowns in some way or another.

As a child I really loved clowns - especially the circus ones as they were so funny. Clowns used to be a firm favourite for the kids and they were always found at entertainment events like carnivals.
However, since I watched IT I have found the idea of clowns a bit more disturbing. After watching an episode of Supernatural where the demon disguises itself as a clown gave me the real heebie jeebies towards them - good job the kids haven't go tany in their bedroom or I would have freaked!!

I dont like them or dislike them really...some of them are great at what they do and some just suck LOL My mum in law recently gave up clowning actually (due to ill health and age) but she is FABULOUS! I also had a friend back home who was a clown yrs ago.....

I didn't really love clowns when I was a kid though I was a clown for Halloween once. But as I got older I liked seeing then make balloons and stuff. My kids like clowns though it is mostly because here they get prizes balloons and stuff from them. If not I think they wouldn't like them. I like girl clowns way more then boy ones, they are kinda creepy sometimes.

Clowns creep me out. I don't think they're funny at all, and I don't get why people want to dress up like them. I was a clown for Halloween when I was like 4 however.

I like to see clowns but I do not want to be dressed in a clown costume. I feel very ackward.

yup clowns are funny. they make people laugh. I used to have clowns during my little kiddie parties. now that I am old I dont have clowns in my parties anymore.

I havent been in a clown costume. my brother's girlfriends works as a part-time clown. she has experience being a host and knows games that can move children.

i havent been in a circus ever too. Hope to go to a circus someday. Well if somebody dared me to wear a clown custome Ill probably try to wear one.

Actually i am still quite childlike (at my age!) and i love the fun and enjoyment i can get from kids games, carnival, circus, fun rides and clowns!! I love them at children's parties where they perform magic tricks, pantomimes and jokes.. I like the way they look especially that long,red, unchanging smile on their face and that funny, big, red nose and colorful curly hair!
