Do you go for the free shipping deals when you shop online?

Amazon is pretty much the only place I shop online. You need to purchase $39 worth of product sold by Amazon (and not an outside seller) in order to get free shipping. So if I am looking for a book or CD to buy, I will also check out books that my kids are interested in, or something I have on my list to look for in book stores or the library, just to bring the dollar amount up to $39 and get free shipping. I won't buy unless I get free shipping. Stuff costs enough as it is.

The only shopping I ever do with free shipping deals is usually with Columbia House DVD club. I honestly don't buy many things online anyhow. Luckily the CH free shipping deals don't usually require you to spend a certain amount of money, it's usually something like "For 48 hours only, get free shipping when you buy one DVD at full price" which is anywhere from 19.95 - 22.95 usually. Considering shipping does rack up your bill a lot I usually will use this deal.

Otherwise, I'd rather just buy stuff at the store so I don't have to worry about shipping in the first place.

I only go the free shipping route if it makes sense to me. Like your 100 dollar example wouldn't make sense to my needs. However, on Barnes and Noble's website, you get free shipping when you order 25 dollars or more. That makes much more sense for me and goes along the lines of what I'll be needing anyway.

If I have to spend more than I would have to begin with then no- I don't go for the free shipping- Alot of times I will go all the way until it tells me the shipping and then cancel- I can't believe how expensive shipping is at times! That is why I love amazon! free shipping on products over $25

I do like it when they offer free shipping. I don't always go for that deal but if it is something I use all the time or something that I know is a great deal then yes I will go for it if I have the money. I never over spend. My husband is the spender in our house. I think they should offer free shipping on all the things we buy online. I think if they did offer free shipping then they would have a lot more people drawn to their sites.

Free shipping sounds great but if I am not going to spend $100, then it is not so great. I prefer other coupon deals where I can get $20 off if I spend $60. I got a lot of clothes that way over at Woman Within. I do a search on the web for coupon deals for the store I am shopping at online and see if there are any good deals for me to take advantage of.

I try not to get suckered into buying stuff just to get a better deal on shipping. I can't afford to spend more than what I need, so I tend to avoid sites that require you to spend a lot before you get free shipping.

Most of the shopping I do online is at Ebay or Walmart. On ebay, I do always check shipping, too, and make sure that I am getting a good deal. And on Walmart.com, I usually only buy stuff that has the site to store free shipping, and we just go pick it up from the store. A lot of things are cheaper on Walmart.com than at the Walmart store here for some reason.

I am a seller at the same time buyer online.. For me it depends on the items when big amount I dont purchased online i prefer meet ups...

Oh that gets my eye all the time. Especially around the holidays. And if I'm planning on spending a certain amount too. But if I see FREE anything I'm most likely going to see or hear whats its about and if its worth my time.

yes, i think i can find much fun that i can't find in online shipping.
