Did Walt Disney have something against mothers?  |

 I've heard this argument before, especially when people talk about Disney as an evil corporation. I just think it is interesting to note how many Disney characters were motherless. Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, and Pocahontas. I know there are more examples. Any thoughts on this?

 foxyfire33 (5228) | 11 months ago |  I forgot about Donald Duck's nephews! I don't remember them having a mother either. And you're right about Max...no Mrs. Goofy to be his mother. I asked my oldest daughter if she could think of any moms and she did come up with ONE! Sleeping Beauty had a mother...although I think there are a few different versions of that story...I do remember that her mother (the queen) was present in it.
