 I have to thank for my mom and mother-in-law because they have done a lot for us to take care of my child. After being a mom, I realized it is never an easy job to take care of a baby. I appreciate my family's help. If one day my child has his children, I would like to help them as much as I can. We are Chinese and we pay attention to the family.

1.  lecanis (7212) | 3 years ago |  Well, I wouldn't trust either my parents or my husband's parents (even if they did live where I do) to take care of my child, because they all have histories of child abuse.
However, if my son ever had children, I would hope that he would let me help take care of them! I know a lot of parents who let their children spend time with their grandparents, and I think it's great for the kids, the grandparents, and the parents! I just wish I had that option myself.

I do however still have a 7 and 8 year old children in our home, so sometimes my time is limited. Not only to I watch my grandchildren, but my older children come and watch their younger siblings so I can have a day off too.
