Can someone help me find a owner's manual for my truck?

I need to find an online owner's manual to my truck. It's a 95 Ford Explorer, 4 door. My dash lights no longer work (speedometer area) and I've already checked the fuses. I'm begining to think I'm going to have to take the dash apart to change the bulb or something. If anyone knows how to fix lights, let me know that too!

I've had very good service from Barnes & Noble as well as Borders book stores when tracking down automotive books. But I don't think your having an owners manual will address your problem. You can contact Ford for the factory approve repair manual printer to order your own copy. It won't be cheap, but it will cover all the systems on your Ford. If you plan on keeping the Explorer for some time, it is WELL worth the investment!

Thanks for the suggestion! It stinks because when I bought my truck, it didnt have a manual, but the dealer told me they would ship me one. Of course, they never did and I really didn't realize the importance of having one. Well now, 8 years later, I'm seeing WHY i need an owner's manual. LOL! I could pay an arm and a leg to have a repair guy fix my lights, or pay for the book and do it myself. I think it would be a better investment to get the book because I might be able to solve other car problems on my own with it. I wonder if I could find the factory owner's manual on ebay for a little bit cheaper.

I found the website for the official Ford manuals. It is www.Helminc.com. They have been the official publisher for Ford manuals for at least 4 decades now. I suggest going there first to locate the official copy for your Explorer, then go shopping, unless they have a reasonable price there. Good luck!

You can probably find one to buy online, but you won't be able to find it in text, at least I have never been able to find an owner's manual free online. Freaky problems are the specialty of Ford, it's what they do. I had a Ford where the key wouldn't come out of the ignition, the rearview mirror just fell off, the latch on the glove compartment came off in my hand, one back door wouldn't open unless you gave it a hip check, the other door locked itself open and wouldn't close, the car wouldn't steer if the right front tire went through a puddle... I could go on and on. If all that has happened is a light is out, you got a dream Ford.

LOL! Your post made me laugh. Thankfully I haven't had too many problems with my truck, but it's becoming difficult to drive at night. I know that getting dash lights repaired cost a fortune, so I was hoping to do it myself but have no idea where to start taking the dash apart to find the bulbs. I can't believe I can't find anything online :(
