how you met? this is fun! pls share your love story with us:)

Oh, this is fun. Here I go:

We met on: Halloween, at a party

We met because: He was the high school friend of my sister's boyfriend.

My first impression of him/her was: That he was kinda rude. He didn't bother taking off his Halloween mask when I was introduced to him.

We started to get to know more about each other when: We met again at another friend my sister's boyfriend was having. This time he was single and we got to talking.

The first things you talked about were: Anime. My sister told him that I liked it too, so he came over to me to ask about the types of shows I liked to watch,

Some of the things i learned about him/her then were: He has really good taste in anime and we both had a lot in common in terms of other shows, books, video games, and comics that we liked. I also learned that he was very involved in his family and I thought that was a great thing.

You knew he/she was really the one for you when: We both realized that we could act really silly around each other and it was okay and didn't weird the other out.

The courtship started: When he asked me out, but only after asking my sister if it was okay because he didn't want to make things awkward for her (because I would be hanging around that group of friends a lot more) and also to make sure that I would say yes.

The most memorable thing that happened that time was: We both realized that we had a pretty dark sense of humor and that was okay.

I realized i was falling for him/her when: I took him to see one of my favorite plays and he really liked it. He trusted my taste enough to try new things with me.

When we celebrated our anniversary i felt: Really surprised that a year had gone by so quickly. 4 years later and I'm still surprised how quickly time flies.

If we could escape from all the responsibilities of our daily lives and have the day all to our selves we would: Travel all over the world and eat lots of new and strange foods together.

We met on.. the job.
We met because.. I guess God meant us to meet.
My first impression of him was.. "Handsome. He could be the one.. but how can it be?"
The first things we talked about were..work.
Some of the things i learned about him then were..he loved basketball and was in a relationship.
The most memorable thing that happened that time was..he told me out loud to "Take care," to which i blurted out, "Coreny!"
I realized I was falling for him when..I took the risk of going out to watch a movie with him when i still had 'unfinished business' with my ex- at that time.
When we celebrated our anniversary i felt..Uhm, actually, we don't have a specific anniversary but we did celebrate our "first 100 days" together.
If we could escape from all the responsibilities of our daily lives and have the day all to our selves we would..probably ride the MRT from end-to-end, go to the spa together, and talk endlessly over pizza, burger, soda and fries.=)

Awww - there's nothing cheesy about love:-)) So - here's mine!

We met because he worked with my best friend and we met at one of her work events.

My first impression of him was that he was gorgeous, but I was just out of a bad marriage and divorce, and didn't want to get involved with anyone again.

We started to get to know more about each other when we were both invited to my friend's wedding.

The first things you talked about were how nice the wedding had been.

Some of the things I learned about him then were - he came from Argentina, and he had just been through a divorce too!

You knew he was really the one for you when - I realised he liked cats as much as I do:-))

The courtship started - well we didn't really have a "courtship" - we started living together about 3 weeks after we got together!

The most memorable thing that happened that time was - I realised I could actually trust a man again!

I realised I was falling for him when - I woke up the next morning and he smiled at me:-)) (And -yes - we did sleep together on the first date and are still together 20 years later!!!!)

When we celebrated our anniversary O felt - happy that we had found each other.

If we could escape from all the responsibilities of our daily lives and have the day all to our selves we would - stay in bed all day!!!!!

I believe in Jesus. So what I'm telling you is based on that sure believe, that HE is guiding my life and has a wonderful plan with every one of us.

In 1987 I joined a youth choir "Gospel News", who toured through Germany to sing the Gospel of Jesus on open places. It was a wonderful experience. Many of us had good talks to people who were touched by Gods presence.

Well, I finally was touched by his presence too and by that of a nice girl there. I had several "special" moments, which were - I would say - supernatural. One time we were sitting in the bus, who drove to the next place. I sat beside that "nice girl" and talked to her. Then I looked into the indoor mirror above the drivers seat and saw us two sitting beside each other and I "knew", they belong together! Wow! I actually watched us from a distant perspective.

The strongest thing was after the last concert. We were all sitting around on benches and chairs, eating some ice cream, when SHE left the room and went out just right by me. She accidentally touched me with her finger on my shoulder - but this went through me like a power surge.

After the tournee we went at home and I started writing letters with that girl. 2 years later we got married. Besides to got saved through Jesus this was the best thing in my life that could happen to me!

After 18 years I still love and adore my wife. She's my best friend.

We met on our college years, when we were still in school and that was a long, long time ago. (1987)
We met because a friend of mine is the girlfriend of his brother and we were introduced.
My first impression on him is, he is a snob but that makes him more appealing. Haha..
We started to get to know each other when one of my friends ask me to call him on the phone which of course I did.
The first things we talked about were his brother and my friend, then our past relationship.
I learned that he is sweet,funny and very,very intelligent.
I knew he was the one for me when he held my hand for the first time.
The courtship started during our friendship days.
The msot memeorable thing that happened at that time was were just supposed to do schoolwork but we ended up kissing. Haha.. With that kiss, I ralized I am falling for him.
The first time we celebrated our anniversay, I felt very happy and excited.
I don't think I would want to escape everything now because our marriage now is still like a dream and we're enjoying each others' company every minute that we are together.

We met because: my girlfriends made me go out after a really bad relationship
My first impression of him was: respectful of my space and of course nice butt
We started to get to know more about each other when: he continued to call
The first things we talk about: it was too long ago to remember
Some of the things I learned about him then were: how to spell his last name right and he calls when he says he is going to call
Knew was the one when: He was transferred (Navy) and didn't see him for 3 months. He walked off the train and I said this is the one.
Courtship started: slow, we have many letters that say your friend (email was not as easily available back then)
Most memorable at the time: Told hime I didn't want a relationship because of the bad one before, I cried for hours, and poured my confused heart out and he just listened and held me.
Realized I was falling for him: When I brought him home with a bunch of other friends to meet my parents and cared what they thought about him
Celebrated our anniversary: was glad he was actually home to do it
Escape: we would stay in bed late and "snuggle"; go out for breakfast; talk about things that just get brushed aside with the kids and everyday events; go for a walk along the water and just enjoy!!!:)

We met almost 8 years ago, on a Wednesday. We met because we were both at the same party. My first impression of him was that he was in the way - he was standing in the doorway. We started to get to know more about each as we stood there and chatted. I learned a lot about him, but I don't specifically remember what.
The most memorable thing that happened around that time was when we had been dating for six months. We went out for dinner, then to the bookstore, and then ice skating. It would have been perfect except that he came down with strep throat and got sick on the bus.

The courtship started:--- we got together about 2 yrs later and then about 6 mths later we started sleeping with each other

We met at the workplace. He was a new colleague. In fact we did not see each other, but we had to speak on the phone to each other. I got to know that we have a new colleague, and I was curious. But when we spoke I did not like his voice, and style at all. He was a truck driver, and I was the logistic planner. He was a good team worker, but as a woman I did not like him. First we met personally, when I had to give a few documents to him. I did not like his outlook. I found him old,and a shít-kicker. I said to myself,that I may never fall in love with him. Probably he was too interesting and special styled for me, because I wanted him to like me. And yes, I was successful. He asked me to coach his English. So we met out of work too when he was at home (he was an international truck driver so he was in the city not too often). So I coached him, but I wanted more. When I taught him, and he did the lessons I always listened to his hand, his mouth, his muscles.
I knew that he has a girlfriend, who moved to Spain. I was sure that a relationship can not be serious, if the woman (8yrs older than he) decided to move to another country, just because she felt bored here. In fact I felt rather some sorrow toward him, that he believed that was a good relationship.
After a few weeks we kissed, and slept together. It was on 4th December 2004. We knew that his exgf would visit to Home for the Christmas. I said him, that I would not be the second girlfriend. He must have decided between us. I said that if he kissed her, and slept with her I would step toward immediately, I would finish our connection. So he realized, that I was much more important for him. He said to that woman the truth about us.
And now we live together. I am still in love. He is as well. Now he is sleeping, I think I slip back next to him:)
