| | I am currently reading "The Bishop and the Missing L Train" by Andrew M. Greeley. I had been reading writing magazines and non-fiction and was in dire need of a novel. So the next couple of books will be novels, or a collection of short stories. However, editing my own novel should be on the top of my priority list. | | | | | | |

| | The last novel I just finished was Peachtree Road by Anne Rivers Siddons. A story of a woman of great zest for love, intoxicating drink and lifes challenges, all of them. Her own fatal feelings but suave charm keep the reader thrilled to the end . . . The author does a superb job of depicting southern class and crash with a rich history of sprawling Georgia countryside with mansions and acreage only the true photographer and artist could appreciate. But it should spark a gentleness in all who read it. Great stuff, and a bit romantic too!sharing the light, Erica, the Enlightenment Advisor, M.A. Transpersonal Psychology Studies Counseling, Author/Artist/Photographer Freelancer http://360.yahoo.com/affect_ive1 | | | | | | |

| | I just finished a novel called "Once a Thief" by Kay Hunter. I mostly got it because I actually have met her a few times and wanted to check out her work. It wasn't bad. | | | | | | |

| | Hi! I've just finished The Glass Lake by Maeve Binchy -- actually it's a re-read. The first time I read it was, I don't know, 5 years ago and since I kind of forgot how the story went, I decided to give it another run. The story is not really that great and the author's style is not really one that I'd care to see again in another novel but it was, on the whole, OK -- like a mediocre movie you watch on TV when there's nothing else good on, but one which still manages to entertain you just a little bit. But right now, I'm just starting on Holy Blood, Holy Grail by Michael Baigent, Richard Leigh and Henry Lincoln. It's a highly controversial non-fiction book published in the 80s which talked about certain speculative theories about the Holy Grail, Christianity, Jesus Christ, and everything else that has been stirred up by the equally controversial fiction The Da Vinci Code. It's not a book for everyone, really. I mean, if you're one of those people who had negative feelings about The Da Vinci Code, I wouldn't recommend Holy Blood, Holy Grail. But if you're one of those who felt a nagging curiousity to the claims of the fictional novel, the non-fiction book should provide more intellectual stimulation for you... | | | | | | |

| | The last novel I read was Hidden Prey by John Sanford. It was really great. At the moment, I'm reading Into the Wild by John Krakauer, which is really interesting. It's an account of the story of Chris McCandles -- who went into the Alaska wilderness looking for adventure and met death instead. | | | | | | |
