Do you write poetries

Actually I am not a writer for anythings but I try to write to improve my english skills.One time I try to write a poem but isn't really long.

no sorry.i try to write a little book, but it not end.............maybe 4 or 5 years...ahah....

I have been writing poetry since the age of 11. They say that poetry is now a dying art. I believe that too. I wrote a poem on here a while ago, no one ever commented on it.
I have had my poems published on Poetry.com, but that site is not really any good. There are a few other sites, but I have not found one yet that was really worth investing much time in.
I also don't write poetry much any more. Every now and then, I am inspired to right, but it is not often. I use to want to go to the Santa Monica Pier and sit in front of the ocean and write, but ever since I moved to Santa Monica, I have not went to the beach. I have no excuse. It is only 19 blocks away.

I donot spend time poetry writing or song writing or any other type of story type writing I am able to post and respond to discussions and that is my limit at this point .I try my best and i must say i respond with what the topic lit in my poor little old brain.Sometimes off topic but that is my reply .Good Luck Have a Great day

love, nature poems etc... but I can only do that when I am in the mood. But most of the time, even If im in the mood I have no time to do that because my 2 year old daughter always get my ballpen and paper or ask me to join her in her play. I guess those days that I can write poems quietly is over. Anyway its fine with me.

I remember when i was a teenager I could just get a blank piece of paper and a pen and just right a page full of a poem i had just thought of in my head. I would write in class when i was bored or sad. all i needed was a topic or a first line and i could flow from that. I had an assignment in class to write a poem from a title the teacher gave us and i ended up writing a poem for me and one of my friends to turn in. Mine got an A+ and the one i wrote for her got an A-. I do miss those days of creativity. I had them on an old computer that i lost all my files from and i don't have the written copies anymore. i don't get the chance to write poems anymore because i don't have the time nor at times the motivation to do so.

I wrote a couple of type of poems years ago when a couple of my friends were getting married I inro making my own cards so for both of them I made the cards and wrote the wording, very personal wording in the form of a poem, they were like funny mini biographical poems and one who is not good at this sort of thing I must be honest they were wuite good.

I am not a poet. I like to write articles every now and then but that is all. My daughter loves to write poems. She is on the literary magazine at her school which puts the poems to pictures and print. They sell the magazines at school. She has also entered several contest but has not won as of yet. She keeps trying. I enjoy her poems.

I like to do a little freelance writing for associatedcontent.com. I have submitted several this month and have had them approved for payment. I have been very successfull there. I also like to read other peoples articles there because they can be very helpfull. I have seen some poems on here but not that I am interested in. Sorry to the poets here at mylot but I am not a big fan of poems.

Long time ago I wrote some love poetries. Now I don't write it any more.

Love makes a man poet. It was not my cup of tea upto the age of 24-25 years. Then i fall in love with a girl. During that period i started writing poems. All this continued for the next 2 years. Now as i'm busy in my married life, so i'm not getting time or you can say not much interested in this anymore.
