Potty training "browns"

Thanks mac! The thing is... she never left my sight. She was sitting on the couch with the kitty on her lap the whole time! I guess the world will never know on that one. LOL!

My oldest would always run behind the couch, chair, bed, whatever and hide. He then, would strip down to his diaper and make poo. Sometimes, he would "paint" the wall with it. (YUCK!)

Megan is making progress, so it will just take time. The sooner, the better. I'm tired of all the diapers in the garbage! Thanks for the support!!!

Then I do feel for you, Naty! LOL! Megan is getting the hang of it, but just doesn't want too. She'll get there soon enough, I'm sure. Of all the kid duties that one must do to have a child grow up smart and safe, potty training is my least favorite!

Ha! Megan does that...I have learned not to put the TP on the holder. I can never find it when I need it, but at least she can't either when she goes potty. LOL!

Would it help if you started waking your daughter up during the night and take her potty. I know it's a lot of work, and will make for a tired mommy. It may at least get her used to waking up and going potty. Just a thought...

I have tried hiding the toilet paper but she is too smart and always seems to find it or someone else leaves it out for her lol .

I do wake my daughter up at night as many as three times a night and it is tiring but so far no luck . I just keep hoping that it will become a habit for her being woke up and that she will eventually wake up on her own out of the habit .

Thank you for the advice though as I only just started doing this a couple of months ago as I never thought about doing this before and when you think about it, it does make logic sence that it should eventually work . Hopefully soon, mommy needs some sleep at night:)

I do agree with you. I do agree that pull-ups make life harder. We've tried the panties, but Megan doesn't quite understand the run to the bathroom when you start to get wet. I haven't figured out her schedule yet, either, but when I do, we'll be out of the diapers/pull-ups in no time.:)

I appreciate your concern, Rozie! I am letting her go at her own pace. She goes when she she's ready, and I don't force her. I know potty training is difficult, and I think it's my least favorite thing about raising children--because it does take so much time and patience.

She's actually giggling and laughing in the photo. Posing for pictures is one of her favorite things.:)

Good, I am glad to hear that. I looked real good at the picture and I thought that maybe she could be laughing, but with children, it is hard to tell sometimes. She is a beautiful little girl and I am glad that you did not get offended. That was not my intent at all.
