musically gifted children.....  

When ever your 12 year old daughter is giving you a fit like she does, hold tight to this thought that she is musically gifted. Glad to hear something positive here. Maybe it is something you can use to redirect her to when she is having one of those fits and let her express herself through playing music.

That's so nice. Music is a good thing for children. As for the lessons you can find on the Internet some music lessons for free.

At the beginning it will do fine. Later someone in your community could help you finding some teacher who could teach them for free.

very fascinating..do you know that special children are known to be very intelligent? yes they are..i saw many special children who had grown up so smart on a certain thing even if they did not have any lesson on it..i am glad that finally your daughter had something that she likes doing the most..i love music too..never got enough of it coz i always sing and sing and sing..its my passion..and i want my future kids to get indulge with music too..

I think there are sites that you can really find a lot of text and instructions in order to help your children with their vocals. try it.

Your telling me you children do not attend school and you homeschool your children There is so much i donot know but i am not in favour of that ..but again with details i might understand and approve ..but at this moment i am not in favour .As well as other children to socialize with it to me like hiding them from the world .Again please i do not mean to offend i am just trying to honest and share my viewpoint You can disagree with my position and i accept that ..I donot want to get into more hot water so Good Luck I hope I really do that it all works out in the end Of course if the home thing is only for music and they do attend school then my response would be entirely different

Hi oneandonemakesix! You know what, I do admire you for having the patience to homeschool your kids, not a lot of people would have the patience and the ability to teach. Even without money for some voice lessons, I believe you can have your children reach their potential as long as the children have the desire to really learn. Good luck and take care. Music is a great thing. Your girls are gifted. Have you spoke to anyone about lessons. It is a very good idea and I am sorry you can't afford them. It seems like she can just listen to the music and go from there, which is awesome. Does she seem happy when she is playing or singing? Is there anything on the internet that you could download for her to learn from? There has got to be a way..Are you active in church where maybe someone knows someone who could help you get her lessons? Thank you for sharing.

I too am like that...I have a great ear for music but can't read it to save my life...LOL
In college I took so many music courses I was practically a music major...but still couldn't read it!

Oh that is so sad that they can't have the lessons, but maybe they will be good enough that they don't need any lessons. You know my friend has God given talent and I feel she sings some of Dolly's songs better than Dolly herself does. It is just getting someone to sponser them and getting them started. Have you ever thought of having them sing in a pod cast and upload it to the internet? People subscribe to your podcast. I think it is free to do, or you can do it professionally and hire a podcasting company to help you with mixing and everything.

special children have special talents that regular people sometimes do not notice. and most of the time it is towards the arts. and the way i look at it your daughter is headed for that. there are a lot of organizations that offer programs for special children they might be able to assist you in developing the special talent of your daughter. search the net they are listed or check your local church and ask their help, i'm sure they are more than willing to do so. she's still young a lot of things can happen for her betterment. my prayers.
