I'm sick of pap smears and biopsies!!

Thanks! Its been a rough year, my dad just died in June and I have no idea what the procedures are like here in Australia. Mt periods are always on schedule, but I bleed more heavy on the side that they took a peice off my cervix. I love how these dr.s say this will be a bit unconfortable and they don't numb ya they just cut a part out! I was suppose to go back every 3 months, but I only go yearly. Guess we are just getting old? I also heard if you have a low B vitamins and folic acid it can show a false positive on the pap test. So I am taking that plus a mulit-vitamin.

Sometimes I think it pays to go to another doctor for an opinion, a friend of mine has been treated for high blodd pressure, she moved ans went to another doctor, that doctor picked up on someother thing to do with her heart when the doctor sent her to a specialist to check further he had her straight into the hospital and open heart surgery two days later so I think sometimes it could be good to check with someone else doctors just seem to pick a xcause and look no further...
