 Does any one know of any other web sites like craigslist? Its a web site where everything is first catorgorized by location and then what you want. Like You'd select chicago and then search for couch if you were looking for a new couch.

1.  chargoans (741) | 3 years ago |  You could try freecyclers! You actually choose a location then join the group. People use this to get rid of items they don't want to send to the trashbin. I have received a beautiful somewhat new couch locally. It has recliners on both ends. Just had to clean it as it was in a house with indoor dogs. A friend of mine received a lower end computer and printer combo. It's free for the taking. Just read the lists of what's available and inquire.

http://expo.live.com/: the MSN version of Craigslist, I have not used it yet.
Facebook marketplace: sign up and you can put up classified ads of your things online
http://www.listasaurus.com/: never used it, but have heard good things.
http://www.local.com/: never used it, local searches
http://www.backpage.com/classifieds/index: looks promising, I like the layout since it is similar to craigslist
