Are you thinking of Christmas shopping already?

First I focus on Halloween...then when it's over, I prepare for Christmas...Halloween and Christmas are such opposite holidays...one is all about death (and monsters...ha ha), and the other is about the Birth of Jesus. So I sort of keep them separate and do one at a time

I already started...you never know when the perfect gift will come along..and when I see it..I jump on it. I think I started on July 3.

Funny enough I have. Normally I'm all about "no christmas till after Thanksgiving!" But I'm trying to go back to school and I don't have a lot of money as it is so I want to buy something little by little. I made a deal with my brother that I'm not buying him and his wife anything anymore, just the kids. So with my nephews and my parents I'll only have 4 people to buy for which is pretty good. i mean...if I start buying one a month in September, my last one will be bought in December.

Hi there. I have thought about christmas shopping and how fast it has come around this year, with only 4 months away... I usually do the christmas shopping, on "boxing day" where everything here is half price...

Yes, I am. I am trying to buy things that are on sale now that I know my family need and putting them aside. It always seem around the holidays I have no money so If I can start early I guess it wont be so difficult.

It's funny you think it's insanely early, it's only like 3 months!
Here in Oz they have some Xmas lay-by deals right when the very first Xmas toy sales start - that's usually late June early July - it basically means you can put everything on lay-by & you have until Xmas eve to pay them off & pick them up.
I already have the main of my Xmas shopping put on those very handy lay-by's:) My daughter is already finished, we're just paying it off, plus all 8 nieces & nephews are sorted out as well.
I couldn't be happier that things are the way they are when Xmas is on the way!

Oh yes I did. Last month I bought this toy thinking that it would be a good Chrismas present for my nephew. It was a Hot Wheel thingy, and it was on sale at 60% off. Well, that intended Chrismas present got into my 8 year-old son's eyes, and of course he must have it. Now, it's all opened and played with for about 3 days max.
I learned to hide my purchases for Christmas presents from now on...

Yes im thinking of christmas shopping already, i dont want to make it by december and deals with lots of people in malls. Sales have already started here in our country so its okay to buy things.

I have not started my christmas shopping yet. I do my christmas shopping after thanksgiving every year. I buy presents for my mother and father,my mother's parents,and my father's mother.

Actually you can get some good deals quite early. Not that I really support the christmas prep so early except in craft and fabric stores, since there are a lot of people who depend on holiday crafts for their livelihood (or at least part of it) and need time to make those crafts for selling, I don't have any issues with those items being available so early.

But seeing christmas decorations for sale, on display and decorating stores before halloween irks me.
