my love story.... what's yours?  | |  my husband and i met years ago, at a club. I approached him because he was just standing there silent and expressionless. I didn't think he was interested in the conversation and i already had a boyfriend who was waiting for me outside so i told him i would be right back and i left. The next weekend when i went back to the club i saw him there. i didn't talk to him at first, because i thought that he wouldn't even remember me. but by the end of the night, i ended up standing beside him. we talked a bit, and again i left. after a few weeks, we exchanged numbers and talked every single day. we were instant friends. he told me that the first night, when i told him i would be right back, he stood outside as the club closed and waited for me. he stood in 6 inches of water and ruined his new boots. i had boyfriends, and he had girlfriends, but everyday he told me that he would leave them all if i but said the word. he ended up moving to Illinois, and we lost touch for a bit. i finally found him and we got to talking again. I realized that this man, had been beside me for years, that he was willing to do anything for me, and that i loved him. i asked him to return, and without hesitation he jumped on the next flight over. i moved in with him a week later, and we got married two weeks later.

funny thing tho, i didnt like him at first...i guss he grew on me, we have been married almost 20 years!
