Do you have a habit of lighty squeezing the bread before you buy it?

I have this habit for checking to see if its fluffy,if its not i will buy a different one.Do you check it or not bother at all?.

I know!!!People just stare at me when i do it!One time there was a woman waiting to get a loaf of bread and i was digging in the back.She was staring and i said "its fresher back there"Shes like,yah?Then she did the same as me and said "thanks".O.k.i dont know why she said thanks but whatever.:)

Basically, breads are fluffy when freshly baked and hardens as days passed which is opposite to fruits in general. I do check the freshness of bread and fruits by squeezing or pressing a little or just holding them but not as to deform it. Checking the manufacturing date if indicated would help too.

Sometimes the manufacturing date is not indicated,but instead the price is.Thankyou for your response.:)
