Has anyone else had problems with a PSP lasting more than a few months?  

I realize that they are rather delicate due to the amount of technology crammed into such a small piece of equipment, but come on! I have had 3 different PSP systems since January. The first one lasted about 3 and a half months and then simply decided to quite acknowledging the fact that a UMD was in the system. The second one lasted about 3 months and then just started showing a lit up black screen - sort of like the blue screen of death that windows is so famous for. The third one has only lasted about a month and suddnely the screen appears to be broke - it looks like the liquid inside was allowed to get out and now it is just a black screen with wildly mixed up colors and a sort of star shape on one side.

I drive a truck for a living and use the PSP for games, movies, and even occasionally (though not as often as my laptop) for internet. The only thing I can figure out is that they can't stand the vibrations from the constant driving up and down the highways. I am thinking very seriously about replacing the system this time with another Nintendo DS. I had one previously and when it quit charging, I replaced it with a PSP - thinking it would be a better system. It would seem that the DS is better suited to a life of travel though. Any thoughts?
