Nothing comes easy. You have to work for what you get. Here in Canada, I see many people lining up in the Mall to buy lottery tickets. Why the other day, we were in the Seven Eleven, a popular corner store here, and most of the people were lined up to buy, you know what.
Your friend is wrong. That person who owned the garment store had to work long hours to get where he was. Stealing is wrong. That store owner will have to raise his prices to make up for the loss, so your friend not only robbed that garment owner, he robbed the customers.

That is the saddest post i have read in a long time There is talk about India being the major power by 2020 but what good is that if the population is starving and homeless .I am sorry i donot get what this is all about i donot mean your friend i mean that residents are forced to take this path My sympathies indeed Good Luck

yeah what a sad story first of all.well all i want to say is wrong deeds always land u up in wrong places.well this society always welcomes intelligent people and moreover when ur friend ha supportive and concerned friends like you then i really dont understand what made him take such a wrong step.i feel he should not have done that.

Fellow Indian, I would like to comment saying that your friend's behavior might be influenced by watching movies, there are so many of them showing poor desperate people commiting crimes and getting away with it. Taking Hollywood's instance, there are The Thief Lord, The Italian Job, Ocean's 11,12,13, etc. Taking our own Hollywood's example, there are Bluffmaster, Dhoom 2, Hera Pheri, etc.
