Salty burger lands McDonalds employee in jail

OMG that is so retarded. I can't believe that someone would get arrested over such a stupid thing. I doubt very much that salt would make someone that sick geesh and the fact the her boss and co-worker were tld about it and they pretty well did nothing about it shows that they are neglegent at least she told them what happened

I read that too and thought the charges were absolutely ridiculous!!! If the cop had a problem with his burger being too salty, he simply could have taken it back to the counter, let them know about the problem, and then ask for a new one. Plus, how would he even know that the salty burger made him sick? Didn't the employee say that she had one of the salty burgers too and was just fine? I mean... it's just salt. It's not like she served him an uncooked burger which caused him to get sick! I really feel sorry for her. She brought the problem to the attention of her manager, who didn't instruct her to dispose of the meat. If there was a problem with serving unsafe food product, it should have been addressed by the manager at that point. She's just caught up in the middle of this. Poor girl...
