Fushigi Yugi  

I was never a fan of Fushigi Yuugi. It was too much like a brazilian soap opera too me (interesting enough, I was so fine with all_oh_so_schematic Sailor Moon episodes xD). To be honest, all of Yuu Watase works are infatile to me... but I remember I like opening song very much. It's called "Itooshi hito no tame ni" or something like that :P

i loved Fushigi Yuugi before, when the story wasnt all about miaka and tamahome (which i often called tangahome LOL). but during the last part, i choked up with all those miaka and tangahome este tamahome love stories. anyway, i did like its OP and ED song and they were included my anime mp3 songs collection. hehe...
i love Recca too! you want me to sing any of its soundtrack? LOL

the latest anime craze today is Bleach. and i dont the others. LOL i dont have much free time too to watch more anime like i used to. ^__^

I really love this anime as well. I think my favorite characters were actually Hotohori and Nuriko though. =P

There were just so many neat characters in the anime though! I was also really interested in Amiboshi, he was a neat character. I loved how he pretended not to remember Miaka even though he did remember her, and actually saved her life even though he was supposed to be her enemy. It actually said a lot to me about the overcoming of "destiny".

Actually I think that's a lot of what I like about this series, how it's characters and their actions and emotions actually are able to turn aside "destiny" in a way. =)

i'm a huge fan of fushigi yuugi! it's nice to meet a person of my same interest. =]

Fushigi Yugi is about a 15 year old girl named Miaka Yuki. She’s just a normal teenager, trying to get into a big school (if she can just keep her mind off food for a second...).

She wanders with her friend Yui Hongo (Yui-chan) into a huge library, and springs to a juice machine. Her 100 yen coin falls and as she goes to get it, a mysterious red bird flies over her. Chasing after it, she meets Yui again and an ancient book falls to the ground off the shelves.

Since Yui is an expert at ancient Chinese (???), she starts to read the book, and both of them are sucked into it. Looking around at a strange country side, some slave traders come by. Suddenly, as we’re about to lose the main character, a handsome young man with the Chinese symbol of “ogre” saves them both from the scary slave traders.

Fushigi Yugi is actually JD's nickname in Japan..that is why you like it...HA HA HA HA
