At what age do people start to lose their looks?

To me, beauty comes from within the soul. I have seen beautiful 70 and 80 year old people. Inside and out. I don't think we "lose" our looks. I think we age and change. I am 43. When I was 30, I was different than I am now and when I am 60 (God willing I live that long), I will be different than I am now. But I will still be me and still have the beauty I was born with - just age appropriately.

I don't think age has a thing to do with "turning ugly" and I think if a person wants to stay looking nice on the outside, they can forever. If you give up and let yourself go completely, then you may not be attractive on the outside but the soul, if it is a good one, will shine through and keep you from being ugly.

I have an aunt who is 88 and she stunning. She is a beautiful woman who looks 65 and, with her outer looks, there is also a heart of gold that makes her even more beautiful.

I hate the thought that beauty is based on some number and suddenly when you turn 50 or 60 or whatever, you're ugly. I don't believe it for a minute and plan to look as nice as I can forever - and BE as nice as I can as well.

It all depends upon the person who is getting old i think, as even a 15-20 year old person may feel that they are getting old or even a 80-90 old person may feel they are still young.
Its all in the mind. If you think positively and see the brighter side of things and life, you will always remain young, in looks and in the heart, but if you feel you are old and not looking as good now, then no matter what others may tell you, you will contiue thinking about that about yourself too.

Beauty is always seen in two forms, for some its the inner beauty and for others its skin deep, that is what we see with our eyes, the upper beauty. So incase you are the kinds to notice the facial and the upper beauty then of course you will stop looking good after 40-50, but the inner beauty as for me is what makes you radiant all over.

If you are a beautiful person from within, it automatically shows outside too. The glow always remains.
And i think, that even if we do age, we should do so gracefully and it all depends how you maintain yourself too, as some people do tend to care a lot about theirselves and remain active, happy, content, they will automatically look beautiful.
Each person to their own though, as peope vary on may things, these are just my feelings.

I don't think it's so much abotu at what age you start to lose your looks as it is about how early you start careing for yourself and your skin properly. If you take care of yourself from day one you should still look good in later life, just older, but not so haggard as some old people who never cared for themselves do.

Physical beauty...I think it depends on the person. Some people age better than others. There are some pretty older ladies...and some not so pretty not as old ladies...lol. I mean, it just depends on the person. It's as simple as that.

Personality Beauty...Once again it depends on the person. Some people are beautiful and some are just plain rude and ugly.

beauty has a lot to do with internal feeling as long as we feel we are beautiful we really are, i have seen people who in their 20's and still look old, Also seen some people who are in their 40's look young and vibrant. Normally one is young till 50 yrs. however it again depends on the kind of food they eat, sleeping habit and their self belief
