Compliment.

I dont go around complimenting myself a lot. To me like you said it sounds kind of snobish. And i guess when another people compliment me a lot i get kind of embarassed. Dont get me wrong i like compliments. I Just dont like people making a big deal over things. Especially when it involves me.

The weird compliment about myself is when I get things successful I will never tell any third party. I will put things right at first. This part I will take snobbish step. That is the way I compliment myself for any succession that I had.

After the system and the implementation step has been tested, than I produce an announcement and advertisement, as well.

I have a habit of compimenting the team when we achive success in a hard task. Actually sharing compliments with others actually helps a lot as it leaves a extremely positive impact on my team. I even celebrate sometimes our achivements by organising a company sponsored party for what has been achived. Over the time this has given me a highly dedicated team which does a good amount of brainstorming on issues put up before them. We get ample suggestions on the issue and discuss pros and cons of them and then take the final decision.

I pretty much keep my successes private. Usually, just my family & close friends know about that stuff.

I have no habit of blowing my own tiumphet. When I really perform well, when it becomes unique, distinct from others, it is recognized by all those who are near to me. It is they who are going to praise me rather than me go about telling.

i think we should compliment ourself sometimes to encourage ourself to do well in our job or the things that we are involved in.
