big house or small house? which do you like?

i to prefer a small house for the reason that you mentined (i hate to clean!!) but i would love to have the opportunity to decorate a larger house with my funky eclectic tastes (i love antiques and shabby chic).

There are so many big beautiful houses out there in the world.And it would be so nice to have something like that. But I would love to have a small cozy house that it feels liek a home and you don't have to hire maids to help keep up on the maintance on it.I have a dream home in my head that someday I hope I can have it...It's a small all one floor log cabin out deep in the woods where my driveway is like a half a mile to drive. with all the wilderness all around me and the trees and not a neoghbor for miles...Gosh I hope that dream come true soon.LOL

I too like small house. The best part is as you said alot easier to maintain and clean. Big house with no proper management would really look bad. Beside I'm not too organized type of person. So, I think according to my personality small house is just too good. And I also don't like to have a big family and without big family what it the use of big house.

Not just like but need big house for me. Easy for me to have more friends to come to my house and for any vivid party or gathering. The most important for me is a large space for any functions to be held.

I think I would also choose a small house with a big garden.I wouldn't want more rooms like I can use, because only dust would be sitting on stuff.You are right it is much more easier to clean.If I can choose I would better have som big place for swimming pool, gym and hufe flower garden and smaller one for fruits and vegetables.

For a small family like us I prefer to have a small house with a big master bedroom. I take less time and effort to tidy the house. I feel more secure and peaceful while I am alone in the smaller house during nighttime. It’s better to have a big compound so that I do some gardening and exercise.

I would like a small house in the spring, summer, and fall since I'm seldom in it. But in the winter time, a big house would be nice. One with an exercise room or even a gym. Small houses get to be really way too small in the winter time, esp. if friends come to visit or you have a big meal.
