She sounds like an absolutely adorable child and way to go you for raising her to be that way! It's also good to hear that she isnt jealous of her baby brother and helps you out with him. Thats an even bigger blessing in my eyes :)

I wonder, do you think you could come to my house and teach my 8 yr old daughter to clean up to? lol she seems to think that if its against the edges of the room, its not clutter hehe

oh you have reason to be! i can't help but smile about your heartwarming story. she's is such a cutie. there are really responsible children out there, and they start young. i really admire ivana, as some children, even if they are already 10 years old, are still very bratty. but your ivana is extraordinary. congratulations on having a daughter like her and for rearing her to become such. Hi toni nakama! I can truly relate my Daugther is now 6 years old and she has always been a big help eagered to help anyone who need it,very smart was holding complete conversations at just 9 months, could read and write at 3, always offering to help me water plants, put utensils up, clean up, fold clothes, She is amazing I my Baby she also helps me with my 1 year old she is such a big help and yes Children are a blessing I believe my life would be dull without my Children. I am happy I have 2 great kids I hope they grow to be amazing Adults. Good luck to you and your amazng kids.

As much as I love Jason who is also three and very capable in many ways, I don't let him near me when I'm doing different chores because anything not done a specific way makes me looooooney!

My youngest child is turning four next month. One thing I noticed about her since she turned three is that she is growing into an exceptionally smart child. She's obedient and follows rules. She can do a lot of things we don't expect from an ordinary three-year-old child. She likes to set the dining table every dinner time. She likes to clear the dining table too. She likes to help do little housechores, fixes up her own bed and folds her own blanket. Her daddy is totally amazed by her all the time. She already has her own hour on the computer where she surfs on children's sites like disneychannel, barbie, barney, sesame street, and the like. She can already follow directions clearly on the games they play in these sites. The more amazing thing about this is that she knows exactly which site she wants from the favorites considering the fact that she can't even read yet! After she uses the computer, she turns it off the proper way it should be shut down. Honestly, I,too,am a proud mother like you!
