Eye Catching Ads on myLot  |

 Hello myLotters! I have noticed the ads for merchandise which present at the top of every page when visiting myLot. I happen to love them, even though I cannot purchase these items, I really love the fact that they are geared toward my interests and I also find them most inspiring at times. I enjoy this as a sort of window shopping and it makes my experience here at myLot even more interesting and fun! I think it is an exceptionally good way to sell and advertise, but also occupies my interests. Do any other myLotters have any comments regarding these advertisements presented to you?

What I am referring to is the ad, sort of a banner, at the very top of the page, most pages visited on myLot. They are ads for items perhaps for sale on another site, such as ebay. They vary according to the topic you are discussing or your interests. They have pictures of items for sale and are very interestingly displayed. At the very top of the page they are. I hope you can see them and find them. Good luck!

It is a shadow of earnings. myLot give me learning lesson of how to panelized good products to be advertised on our web blog. And for one concept of having business growth strategy about "to control and not to own". We take others product legitimately, and we do the marketing task for that products. Our earnings is by sales commission from that product's selling price, respectively.
That is what I'm gaining from that kind of practice.

I just love the pleasure of viewing them, as it adds interest to my experience here and is quite franky fun! I feel as if I am shopping, although not purchasing. However, if means were existing for me in my circumstance at this time, I would most assuredly be buying lots and lots of items as they are most wanted by me!

Yes, I can relate to the reminding of home thing. A lot of what is shown to me is of Ireland and I really enjoy it. That is a wonderful point that I hadn't thought of. Well, I hope your present home is home enough for you now. Where are you from then? I was born in Baltimore MD. But lived everywhere mostly. My family is in Denver CO. I know how that goes with the good memories and all. Funny how so much can remind us even in something so simple as an ad right?

Because if their revenue increased, they would be more likely to go back to the 'higher' pay scale they had about six months ago. Sometimes those ads have the most wild and wacky things!

And I do click on them from time to time and oh my you never said a truer word, I swear, some of the things that are presented are wacky for sure, like for instance one of them stick out for me in my memory of a 'femme' outfit on a drag queen attire sort of advertisement. Right now, my ad is a Law & Order SVU VHS 2 episode collection, which I have no interest in collecting, as this show runs in reruns on my television every day. Its current price is .99 talk about a waste of money, as just turn on your television set and I'm sure you will be able to see it again.

At first they did not seem to be very context-sensitive, but now I am seeing many interesting ads that are worth clicking on. So far I have not found anything that I have needed or wanted to buy, but as they become more an more accurate in matching our interests, it is inevitable that some of the hits will turn in to purchases. That should make everybody happy.

I have noticed that too, the longer I am here, the more targeted they are and that is wonderful and amazing for just this past minute or so, I had would you believe it, a HardRockCafe, Lake Tahoe, St Patrick's Day brooch or pin as you might call it, present itself to me and I was like dude! Did you see that? And of course I clicked right out of it too quickly..but I would have sooo bought that if I had the means LOL!
I am happy window shopping drannhh!
