XM Radio on the net

If you use AOL Instant Messenger, it is also available there, at the bottom of your buddy list window. And you are right, it IS cool!

I have a Sirius subscription, so I end up flipping back and forth between the XM and Sirius stations I enjoy. It gives me the ability to be even more of a channel surfer than I was before I had both options. I leave both open and monitor the "what's playing" windows, with one window muted.

The neat thing about using XM on AIM is that you and your buddies can listen to the same channel at the same time and discuss what you are hearing. It proved to be very educational for my sister, who wanted to learn all about a certain genre of music to which she had never been exposed.

Like the first poster said, create an AIM name and you can listen to it for free.

I've had XM in my car now for a few years and LOVE it. I can't live without it. I use it while I train and it's always in my car. There are a lot of channels and a lot of news stations as well on there that are great to listen to.

I have listened to xm radio through my msn search engine since I started doing the net years ago.
I don't sign into anything, I have it bookmarked and just listen. Susan

Yeah my husband loves to do this, he has found lots of radio stations on the net to listen too. I have a friend that DJ's in Memphis Tennessee and I will listen to him from time to time on the net.

My husband found this one site, thats not really a radio staion but it plays all kinds of music, I was really fascinated with the site. Its Slacker.com. You can choose your genre and or type in a song and it will find it and play it. He also uses December.com. This is a nice list of Chicago Illinois radio stations from Gospel to Blues.

I found it a few months ago while travelling from my city to LA i was in the airport and was getting bore for my late flight and then me and my husband were searching musics and suddenly found the XM radio and it was smooth as we always had IE so may be no trouble from the begining

I have had XM radio subscription in my truck for a few years now so that includes an online subscription also. I listen to it sometimes online but its kinda hard because my internet isn't really that fast but it does work decently. I found a program that lets me log into my XM radio online account make to look like winamp that works really well. The program I use when I listen to XM online has a live list of whats playing. Its nice not having to open a browser to listen to my XM radio subscription. I have an XM direct online account so I think its different then what was posted here A year ago LOL so mine always worked with Firefox.
