read this touching story...

Touching is really not enough to describe something so tragic. I do not know if this is a true or not. But, is a definite testimony of how shallow people can really be. This is a very sad story.

That was very touching ang hurting story. How i wish the girl did not change so they can get married. Love is mysterious, love can give you everything and love changes everything.

I am so touched by the girl's boyfriend, who donated his eyes to the girl who later gave him up. It was cruel of the girl, who betrays her promise. I think that after she heard him telling her to take care of his eyes, she will probably make some changes to make her promise to marry him? This is what I am thinking about. I hope that there is a good ending and a good return to the poor young man to make it fair to him for his kindness and loving heart. God bless him.

blind or not, its not the case, dont ever felt that were pathetic, someone carry a heavy load than ours. being blid does not mean that we cannot do an impossible thing. Helen Keller is also a blind person but she made it in history.

We need to know our worth.

Its a sad story.I read it again and again.I thought this blind girl didnt deserve her boyfriend's love since she was a self-fish person who broke her promise at last.I hope its not a true thing since its too cruel to this knid guy.I believe the girl would definitely regret after a while.Also the story reminds us to cherish what we already have in our daily life.

If somebody did me such a service, I would never turn my back on them. I can see what you are saying about change effecting people - but to me it seems that we all need to wake up to this transient existence on our planet. The Buddha discovered in his enlightenment that the source of all suffering is desire. And looked at carefully I can see that whenever I have really wanted something, there was an element of doubt and the way I see doubt is that even when small, it can grow stronger each time we experience it, and doubt tends to bring anxiety and fear into the equation. As a Zen practitioner, I see acceptance of what is, as a path to true liberation.:-)

I have read this before, it is really a touching story that full of meaning. And i agree with you, i know many people like this, after being in a very hard times of their life and luckily becomes prefessionals or gain a lot of money dont ever look back to the people that helped them before.

Unfortunately that is how most people are. People achieve things in life and then look down on people who are in the same situation they once were in.

Unfortunately this is such a true indication of what most humans are like.

That is a truly touching and tragic story. Your right, some people don't realize what special gifts they have and then throw them away when their status changes or things become better in life, like this stupid girl did in this story. But this story is a good example and a good way to tell it! Thanks!
