Best skid row albums  |

|  what are the best skid row albums? i think only the first two are. skid row & slave to the grind. after then they went downhill as they spilt in the mid 1990s & didn't ask sebastian bach when they reformed they hired a completely new lead singer & they haven't been able to sell records since. so are the first two albums the good ones only or are there others?

| |  I think you pretty much summed it up. The two first albums, with Sebastian Bach on vocals, are great! I haven't heard a lot of Skid Row's later stuff, but what I did hear was enough to alert me. Not only did the vocals seem weaker, but so did the songs. But this is only based on the impression I got from hearing a couple of songs.
As for the best album, I'd say it's "Slave to the Grind". The debut is a good album, but it's fairly one-dimensional I'd say. "Slave to the Grind" also has a bit more identity in the songs I think. But the debut is still a great album by all means!

| |  Skid Row is a traditional, old school band!
The best albums of them are by far: Skid Row their first and their second one called Slave to the Grind and the rest of them it was mainstream, nothing more. They were great once but now..

| |  Definatly Revolutions Per Minute. I think this is when the finaly unleashed the real skid row. Although Slave to the grind was pretty kick arse too, it hinted at the agression they were holding back on the first one. I saw them in manchester a few years ago, they opened with slave to the grind and after all the years, they haven't lost a bit of edge.
