But I mean that is what family guy is!!
I mean this one part where Louis tells Stewie the baby.. to meet their neighbor..
Stewie just looks at the guy.. and says "YOU WILL BOW TO ME!!"
I mean it doesn't make sense at all but that's why it's funny!
But yeah sometimes they do something.. and you're like what the hell just happened here! lol

And then sometimes there is stuff that I think they meant to be funny but it just was so stupid it wasn't funny. And then there is stuff that just really doesn't make sense at all in what the story line is supposed to be about.

I love Brian, how sometimes he acts like a human, but reacts to some things like a real dog would, like when he and Stewie flushed the toilet and he ran off barking. I love Stewie, too, he is such an evil little baby.

It's pretty out there and a couple of them are just down right gross. I just change the channel now. Mindless TV just isn't for me.

Quagmire is maybe my favorite (but mostly my favorite depends on who was the last one to say a great line).

| AeroChickie (390) | 3 years ago |  Yes, they do reference other shows, movies, and music. So somethings won't be funny unless you happen to know what they're referencing or spoofing. When my friends watch family guy, one person will laugh at one thing, while I laugh at another. It's because we have different knowledge of pop culture.
For example, in the scene where Stewie is in a tux reciting rocket man, and then starts multiplying. My husband and I thought that was the stupidest scene - until we found out it was a spoof of a Will Shatner video. We watched the original Shatner video, and now we find the family guy version hilarious. We now understand that there were making fun of an absolutely horrible Shatner performance, and it really is quite funny!
