What does O.K. stand for? | | I was bored today and someone kept chatting with me saying "ok" over and over. Then it hit me, what does it STAND for? Does anyone know? I know you can make an OK with your hand, but I'm not sure if that's how it started. Anyone have a theory?

Unfortunately, the rest of the world followed suit and yet another word was massacred because people are too lazy to write an extra two letters.
