Lots and lots of chicken, grilled, baked boiled, any kind of chicken really except fried unless of course you peel the fried part off. Turkey is also good for you along with tuna and salmon. Almonds. 2% cheese slices, fruit, vegetables, and whole grains are all good for you. You need to have what you desire still but ie. if you are craving a candy bar eat 1/2 of it instead of all and save the other 1/2 for another day.
I have also found that if you eat 6 small meals a day this will help boost your metabolism along with drinking about 8-10 glasses of water a day. ie. if you were to buy a 12 inch Subway sandwich, you cut it into 6 portions and that could be your 6 meals a day.
Exercise ie walking, treadmills and such are also good.
Have you started a diet or have you tried to diet in the past?
