I thats agreat idea to write an e-book.U can go to EBAY auctions where there are lot of books available on how to write e-books and market them.in fact Ebay itself cud b a great place to sell ur ebook.my gurl who is a doc also wants to write a e-book on health related topics,so i m also hunting for good bok which will help us get started-i think we shall try to help each other in this respect.

Here's some good advice for you. Your book almost definitely will get lost in the jumble of ebay, so i wouldn't use that as my only source if i were you.

Unless you plan on using a site for other things including your ebook it may not be the best option either. You best bet would be whats called a "splash page" It essentially a website but costs much less, since its sole purpose is to promote basically one thing... your ebook. I'm sure you've seen tons of splash pages before. There one page with a selling pitch and the link to buy at the bottom.

They are cheap, economic and can still be crawled by search bots to increase your chances of getting noticed.

Another way and i think one of the best once you have a splash page is to use clickbank. Why? All you have to do is share some of your profits and other people will do all the promoting for you, ya dont hafta spend a dime on advertising, just share some of the wealth... that a mighty fair trade I'd say since advertising sucks in my opinion, so why not let others do it for you?


I bet if you go that route you'll be sellin ebooks within a week.

well if you know a little bit of content management systems (CMS) it is the best way to sell ebooks online. In my case i have ebooks, scripts, and software and i want to make money from it but i don't want to manually put individual files and pages online because it will take me a lot of time.

try using os commerce or zen cart, but i recommend zen cart because it is easier to use.
