Do you like comic books?

Recently I have discovered an interesting thing here:young people like to read comic books.Among the crowds on the bus or train or school I always find teenagers reading comics attentively.Sometimes I find some adults read such books,too.Most of these picture books are published from Japan or Hongkong and offer them a nwe way to kill time---when they are fed up with TV games and snooker.
The contents of these comic books are as varied as their attractive covers.There are romance,detective stories and science fiction.But they have caused concern among parents and social workers as some of these books are found to have immoral ideas,with an unhealthy emphasis on sex and violence.Some think that the bad effect of these books on teenage.But some in support of these comics say these books are all right with a few exceptions.Their value lies in the fact that they can satisfy teenagers' imagination.The drawing skills in these books are also worth learning.What do you think of it?
